1st RATIONALE training school in Cluj-Napoca, Romania

In September 2024 the first RATIONALE training school took place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The goal of the training school was to provide a comprehensive overview of targeted radionuclide therapy / theranostics. Specifically, this included an inside in the necessary steps for theranostic procedures, what works and what doesn’t and what can be expect in future. 

In a 4-day course a mix of interactive presentations with time for Q&A where given by renown international and local experts presenting the views of physicians, radio-chemists/pharmacists and physicist involved in theragnostics.

We were happy to host 66 participants from 17 different countries of which 48 received a stipend through the COST Action RATIONALE. A special thanks goes to our local host Prof. Andra Mester (WG 1 lead) from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hațieganu", Cluj-Napoca for her hospitality and perfect local organization.
