Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. David Kersting is a nuclear medicine physician at University Hospital Essen (Germany). He is also a certified medical physics expert and has a background in medicine and medical physics.
He is involved in various clinical trials and is a member of several national and international societies. His main research focus is the field of theranostics, particularly, quantitative imaging for dosimetry and personalization of radionuclide therapies, AI-applications, dynamic imaging, prognostic and predictive molecular imaging biomarkers, and investigation of novel tracers. He is also engaged in redifferentiation therapy for thyroid cancer and molecular imaging in nuclear cardiology.
