WG 3 will optimize existing imaging approaches and evaluate the potential of novel imaging methods and their and their integration for disease detection, therapy planning and treatment monitoring. WG 3 will survey what imaging equipment and tools are available in different institutions as well as which imaging protocols and processing softwares are used. Furthermore, the WG is establish a communication platform to facilitate the exchange of knowledge regarding imaging protocols. Within the Action, WG 3 is dedicated to improve clinical imaging workflows to advance characterization of smaller lesions, tumour load, and therapy response and specifically address the issue of ageing equipment.
